Ramadan Fasting Requirements and Rules

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: "He who observes fasting during the month of Ramadan (while) believing in Allah and seeking his rewards, will pass away his past sins." [Reported by Imaams Bukhaari, Muslim and others]
The fasting of the month of Ramadan is one of the main pillars of Islam. It is obligatory for all healthy and healthy saints whose puberty reaches and does not move at the time of fasting. With regard to women, they do not need to fast if they menstruate or have bleeding after giving birth.

The essential elements of Fast
There are two essential elements to make your vif valid and accepted. They are:
Intention
You must have the intention to fast before fajr (dawn) every night during the month of Ramadan. The intention does not need to be spoken, for in reality it is an act of the heart, which does not imply the language. It will be accomplished by his heart's intention to get rid of obedience to Allah by seeking His pleasure.
Abstain acts that cancel the Rapide
The second essential element for your fast acceptance is that you are absent from acts that cancel the fast from dawn to sunset.
If you maintain these two essential elements during fasting, your vivid will be valid and accepted.

Six actions that invalidate or cancel the fast
All researchers agreed that the following acts would invalidate the rapid. They are:
Eat or drink intentionally
If someone eats or drinks due to forgetfulness, error or coercion, his fasting is still valid and should continue to be fast. If you choose to eat or drink, for whatever reason, your lively becomes invalid.
Intentional vomiting
If one is overcome by the urge to vomit, and vomits involuntarily, it should continue to accelerate. If someone chooses to vomit, for whatever reason, his fasting will become invalid.
Intentional sexual intercourse
If one has sex during fasting, he must perform kaffaarah, atonement for sin. (Fasting for sixty days or, if incapable, sixty poor people should be fed).
Menstrual bleeding or childbirth
The vivid becomes invalid during menstrual bleeding or post-delivery. Even if this bleeding begins just before sunset, the day's worth is not valid and the day must come later.
All the above mentioned actions are agreed upon by all researchers. However, there are other actions that are not mentioned above that are not agreed upon.

Actions allowed during fasting
There are actions allowed to do during fasting, which will not cancel the fast. For example:
Take a shower
It is permitted to shower for whatever reason, even if you shower because of thirst or overheating.
Rinse mouth and nose
It is permissible to rinse the mouth and nose without exaggerating; Using too much water can make you swallow water, which can invalidate your fast.
Application of an eyeliner or eye drops
It is permissible to apply kohl (eye-liner) or eye drops or anything else to the eyes, even if some tastes find its way to the throat.
Taking Injections
It is also permitted to take injections for nutritional or medical purposes; There is no text that proves that this invalidates the fast.
Supply of suppositories
It is also permitted to have an enema or a shower. Injecting liquid into the rectum through the anus for cleaning, such as a laxative, or for other therapeutic purposes, or the use of a suppository (a solid drug designed to melt into a body cavity) or Any other medication that can be used in private rooms, either forward or backward is permitted. There is no text that considers these acts as nullifying the rapid.

Accidental consumption
Your vivid will not become invalid if you consume something you could not protect yourself. For example, you swallow your saliva or accidentally swallow dust or sifted flour that accidentally penetrated your mouth.
Tasting food with the tongue
Your keen will be valid even if you earn food with your tongue or use toothpaste or mouthwash as long as nothing will be swallowed.
Breathing in different scents
Kissing and kissing her spouse
It is permissible to dress and embrace your spouse as long as you can control yourself.
Draw blood
It is also permitted to withdraw blood in any amount for any reason whatsoever. If the blood drawing weakens the person, it will be considered an action hates.
Being in a janaabah state
Your keen will still be valid even if you find yourself in a state of janaabah (a major ritual impurity) after Fajr (dawn) has arrived. Ghusl (a complete bath) can still be run once the fajr time has begun.

Who can be excluded from fasting?
There are some situations when it is optional to fast during the month of Ramadan, however, the fast must be completed at a later date. This is the rule for the sick or for those who travel.
However, women who are bleeding after childbirth or are in their menstrual period are not allowed to accelerate until their bleeding ends. They must compensate for the days when they missed the fast at a later date.
For those who can not fast because of a permanent illness or old age, they have to pay fidiya (feed a poor) for every day they have missed.
Pregnant and nursing mothers, who fear that fasting may weaken them or the child, do not have an option of fasting or not. Once Ramadan has finished, they have the choice of fasting or paying fidiyah (feeding a poor one) for every day they had missed during Ramadan. However, according to the Hanafi School of Jurists, these women are only to compensate for the missed days of fasting, and they are not supposed to feed a poor day by day. On the other hand, Imaams Ahmad and Ash-Shaaf'i have the opinion that if these women fear only for the baby, they have to pay fidiyah and build up days later. If they fear only for themselves or for themselves and the baby, they only have to compensate for the missed days at a later date.

Recommended actions during Ramadan
There are acts that are recommended, and if you practice them, you will get more rewards from Allaah ﷻ such as:
Having suhuur (meal before dawn) and delaying it until just before the time of fajr (dawn).
We should also hurry to break the fast at sunset.
Another recommended act is that we break the fast by eating an odd number of fresh or dry dates, and if these are not available, it would be enough to have a glass of water.
Also, we can earn rewards by pleading at the moment of breaking the fast, as the prophet ﷺ said, Dhahabadh-dhama-oo wabtallatil-'urooqu, wa thabatal-ajru inshaa'Allaah. What can be translated as "Thirst is passed, veins are moistened and Allah wants, reward is confirmed."
Another recommended act is that we pray taraaweeh every day after Isha
To earn even more rewards, it is recommended that during Ramadan, we increase our recitation and our study of the Koran. This is because the revelation of the Qur'an began during this period, and Angel Gabriel also examined the Qur'an with the Prophet during this month.
We can also get rewards using Miswaak (a root of the Araak tree found in the Hijaaz region of the Arabian Peninsula used to clean teeth), if not available, any other cleaning tool To clean the mouth is enough.

We ask Allah to strengthen us in Ramadan, to accept our fasts and to reward us for his forgiveness and the highest place in Paradise. Ameen.
